What exactly does a clinical psychologist do?
A clinical psychologist helps people work through emotional, behavioral, or mental challenges through talk therapy. We’re not medical doctors, so we don’t prescribe medication, we’re here to listen, support, and guide you using proven therapeutic methods.
What kind of issues can I come to you with?
Anything on your mind, anxiety, stress, depression, burnout, trauma, relationship issues, or simply feeling stuck. No issue is too big or too small.
How is a psychologist different from a psychiatrist or counselor?
Psychiatrists prescribe medication, psychologists offer therapy. Counselors may offer guidance or short-term support, while psychologists often have deeper clinical training.
Do I need a diagnosis to start therapy?
Not at all! Many people come to therapy for clarity, growth, or support—not because of a formal diagnosis.
What kinds of therapy do you offer?
We use a range of evidence-based therapies like CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and person-centered therapy—always tailored to your unique needs.
